Bridge to Diploma provides educational resources for students, families, and educators. This policy explains the information we receive when you use bridgetodiploma.com and how we use it. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to Info@bridgetodiploma.com.
Information you choose to provide
- Daily Message signup: We collect your email address to send the Daily Message and manage your subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email.
- Comeback stories: The submission form asks for a first name or pseudonym, a private email address, an age range, and your written responses. We use this information to review your story and contact you about it. Stories are reviewed privately; they do not appear on the site automatically. If a story is selected, we may edit it for clarity and to remove identifying details. We do not publish your email address with a story. A parent or guardian must approve publication of a contributor’s story if the contributor is under 18.
- Educator and school forms: We collect the name, email address, organization, role, and message you provide to send requested resources, respond to an inquiry, or follow up about Bridge to Diploma programs. The Educator Starter Kit form also invites you to join the educator list for resources and updates.
- Direct contact: If you email us, we use your message and contact details to respond.
Please do not put student IDs, addresses, other students’ names, or sensitive records in a form or email.
Information generated when you visit
Our site and its hosting, form, security, and analytics tools may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, pages visited, and cookies needed to operate and understand the site. You can manage cookies through your browser, although some site features may work differently if you block them.
Purchases and outside websites
The professional toolkit checkout currently uses a test-mode payment link and is not ready for real purchases. If we later enable live sales, the checkout provider will present the payment process and its own privacy terms. We will update this policy to describe the live purchase process. Links to Amazon, GED resources, and other outside websites lead to services with their own privacy practices.
How information is used and shared
We use information to deliver requested messages and resources, respond to submissions and inquiries, review stories, operate and protect the site, and understand which resources are useful. We do not sell personal information. Service providers that help host the site, run forms and email, or process a future checkout may receive information needed to provide those services. A story is shared publicly only through the review and permission process described on the submission form.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for these purposes, including responding to requests and maintaining necessary records. To ask about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion, or stop receiving email, contact Info@bridgetodiploma.com. Some information may remain temporarily in routine backups or where retention is required.
Younger visitors
If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before signing up for Daily Messages. A parent or guardian must approve publication of a story submitted by someone under 18. Children under 13 should ask a parent or guardian to contact us instead of submitting personal information through a site form. If we learn that a child under 13 submitted personal information without appropriate parental involvement, contact us so we can review and remove it.
Updates
We may revise this policy as the site’s features change. The date at the top will show when the posted version was last updated.
